About Enneatype
Enneatype is a small site about the Enneagram: one free test and nine type profiles. No account, no upsell, nothing to install.
What the Enneagram is
The Enneagram is a model of personality that describes nine types. Each type is built around a core desire and a core fear, and the nine fall into three triads: gut types (8, 9, 1) who lead with instinct, heart types (2, 3, 4) who lead with feeling and connection, and head types (5, 6, 7) who lead with thinking and planning.
Knowing your type does not put you in a box. It gives you a language for patterns you already have, and each type carries its own ideas for growth: what stress tends to do to it, and what moving toward health usually looks like.
How our test works
The Enneatype test asks 54 plain statements, six for each type, and you answer each on a seven-point agreement scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree. The scoring runs entirely on your device: nothing is uploaded, and your answers are stored only in your own browser so you can close the tab and pick up later.
When you finish, you see your most likely type along with the runner-ups worth reading. The type pages explain each of the nine in everyday words: what drives them, what they fear, how stress shows up, and what growing looks like.
What we don't claim
The Enneagram is a popular personality framework, not a scientifically validated diagnostic. Treat your result as a starting point for reflection.
A self-reflection tool, not a psychological diagnosis. It is a lens for self-reflection, not a clinical instrument. Two thoughtful people can land on different types, and that is fine: read the runner-ups too. If you are struggling with something serious, please talk to a professional; no quiz is a substitute for that.
